Hans Garcia

He is a film director and producer who graduated from the Cinematography Technician degree at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, with studies in Screenwriting and Documentary Filmmaking and Feature Film Direction in Madrid, Spain.

He is the producer of the movie “El Vendor de Arte” which is in post-production, he directed the television series “Amor de Batey” 

He started in the cinematographic activity in 1991 and since 2000 he works in his production company HG Comunicacion Integral from which he has made dozens of documentaries and orientation infomercials for public and non-governmental institutions as well as dozens of educational commercials, advertising spots and for political propaganda. 

He was President of the Association of Film Professionals -ADOCINE-, Member of the Intersectoral Commission for the Promotion of Cinematographic Activity -CIPAC-, member of the Board of Directors of the Ibero-American Federation of Cinematographic and Audiovisual Producers -FIPCA- on behalf of the Dominican Republic

His film “Voces de la Calle” received the Best Photography and Editing Award at the Hip Hop Film Festival in New York and the Audience Award at the Dominican Film Festival in Frankfurt, Germany.
