Graduated in Law - University of Havana 2001. He has completed postgraduate courses and diplomas in Commercial Law, Intellectual Property and in audiovisual matters in Cuba, Panama, Spain and at the WIPO World Academy.
Legal advisor and project development specialist for the ICAIC International Production Company from 2001 to 2013, participating in most of the projects carried out by ICAIC at that stage.
Member of the Court of Arbitration of the Ibermedia Program since its creation, in 2012.
Executive Secretary of the Ibero-American Federation of Film and Audiovisual Producers, FIPCA, since 2003.
General Secretary of the Platinum Awards since its creation, in 2014.
Since 2013 he has been dedicated to independent film and audiovisual production.
Producer of the feature film "El Acompañante" by Pavel Giroud, winner of the Julio Alejandro Award for the best unpublished screenplay in Ibero-America 2011 and winner of the II Co-production Forum of the San Sebastián Film Festival 2013. Finalist film in the category of best screenplay at the IV Platinum Awards 2017 edition.
Co-producer of the feature film “Vientos de la Habana” and the series “Four Seasons in Havana” that make up the adaptations of the novels by Leonardo Padura (Princess of Asturias Award for Literature 2015), all directed by Félix Viscarret. Winner of the 2017 Platinum Award for the best audiovisual series or miniseries.
Producer of the documentary “Living and writing in Havana” by Lucía López, about the life of the writer Leonardo Padura.
She participated in the production for Chanel of the parade of her “Cruise 2016-2017” collection, presented in Havana by Karl Lagerfeld. The first of its kind to be held in Latin America.
He has participated as a speaker or participant in different events, audiovisual and co-production forums, festivals, film-debates, in twenty countries in the region. In activities organized by the United Nations Interagency Procurement Group, Population Fund, Pan American Health Organization. As a delegate at the WIPO-SGAE Congress on Intellectual Property in Panama City.
He has served as a jury in several events and film festivals. The most recent, at the WIP LATAM at the 68th San Sebastian Film Festival, 2020.
Legal assistance to different Latin American film projects between 2002 and 2013. Development and realization of audiovisual co-productions, elaboration of the entire chain of rights and contracting that audiovisual works entail; development of project portfolios to obtain financing in various sources of financing and aid programs or grants.
He has collaborated in the development and/or production of works by directors such as Humberto Solás, Juan Carlos Tabío, Fernando Pérez, Rebeca Chávez, Manuel Pérez Paredes, Verónica Córdova, Augusto Tamayo, Carlos Azpurua, Jacobo Penzo, Wolney Oliveira, Geyka Urdaneta, Tristán Bauer, Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, Félix Viscarret, Manuel Martín Cuenca and Pavel Giroud, among others.
